Drywall Texture Matching in Edison, NJ
Edison Drywall matches existing wall and ceiling texture across a repair so the patch disappears under paint: knockdown, orange peel, skip trowel, and hand-troweled finishes.
Matching is a spray-and-knock question
Orange peel is a fine atomized spray left alone. Knockdown is a heavier spray flattened with a blade at the right moment. Too early and it smears, too late and it stays proud. We spray a sample board, hold it against your wall, and adjust hopper pressure, tip size, and compound thinning until the pattern reads the same.
Sheen and paint
A perfect texture match still shows if the sheen differs. Texture takes paint differently from surrounding flat wall, so we prime the patch and recommend painting corner to corner on that plane rather than spot painting.
Knockdown
A common ceiling texture; matched by tip and timing.
Orange peel
Fine splatter on walls, matched by thinning ratio.
Hand-troweled and skip trowel
Matched by hand, one pass at a time.
- Sample board before we touch your wall
- Hopper and trowel textures both
- Primed and ready for your painter
- Patch edges feathered wide

Highly recommend! Ralph did a great job in my basement. Great quality work!
Ralph and his assistant were outstanding. Punctual, neat, professional. They rebuilt badly cracked plaster, I would hire them again.
