Layout drives everything after it
Track is snapped to the drawing dimension and fastened to the deck and slab, studs set at 16" or 24" o.c. depending on the assembly and the board layer count. Openings get boxed headers and jamb studs sized for the door and frame that will actually hang there.
Deflection and bracing
Full-height partitions to structure need slip track so the deck can move without cracking the board. Tall walls get bridging or heavier gauge rather than an extra layer of compound at the crack later.
